Don't know about this one but it just came up tonight when we discussed taking our babysitter with us to BCV in March:
We have a 2BR, 5 adults (with sitter) five kids, ages 6,4,2,2, & 1
Do the youngest kids count as guests in the room? We will only be buying passes for the older kids and ourselves. Will this bust the 8 person limit?

Additionally, are we free to purchase UPH for the sitter for ony one or two nights, as she will not be with us the entire trip?

Comments welcome.... This might be more than we can handle.

Technically everyone counts. Officially 8 plus one under three is OK. With your set up, only you can decide. You could likely get an extra pack n play and if you're in a lockoff, the room may actually have two already. You cannot buy an UMP for less than the lenth of your stay other than you MAY or may not be able to drop the first and/or last day.

Technically, you have nine and one under the age of three. Since you only can have eight and one under the age of three, you exceed the room limits.

If you had a one bedroom and a studio, you could have four and one under three and four and one under three or a total of 10.

But you have to use the points for a one bedroom and studio and I think that is more than just a 2 bedroom.

They aren't going to count, especially the young kids, so I wouldn't worry about that. My question is will you be comfortable with that many people in a 2 bedroom. Sounds crowded to me. If you stay at OKW or some rooms at VWL or BCV, you will have 1 king, 2 queens, 1 queen sleeper. At BWV, some rooms at VWL or BCV, you will have 1 king, 1 queen, 1 queen sleeper, 1 double sleeper. You probably would be more comfortable with a 2 bedroom and a separate studio for 1 of the families.

The answer on occupancy limits is correct. Eight plus one child under three.

Personally, ten total adults and children in a two bedroom would not be enjoyable for me.

Nevertheless, we cannot discuss room occupancy here on the DVC Board but we do offer an ongoing debate on it on our Debate Board.

Good luck.
