We are flying in a few days. I was wondering if they still have paper plates, & plastic cutlery in the rooms? Need to know if they don't. I will throw some in the suit case.

They did on our last visit but not sure if they still do.

Studios, yes. Larger villas, no (real plates & silverware instead).

what about the little glasses? (We are staying in a studio)
Nothing has changed. There is plate ware, flatware, glasses and mugs in all villas. Studios get plastic flatware and paper plates while the larger get silverware and washable plates. Both get glasseware and ceramic mugs.

How do you get the plates and plasticware replaced through out a week stay? Bring your own?

On trash and towel day or on a full cleaning day housekeeping should replenish. If you don't have enough then you would call housekeeping.

We are staying in a studio villa at the BWV - does this include plastic bowls and spoons? Looking to microwave oatmeal in the mornings. Thanks!

Studios have paper plates & bowls and plastic utensils.

There are paper bowls. The spoons are still made of plastic. I brought a single serve cup of oatmeal with me that I never did get around to eating. Guess I'll have it for breakfast tomorrow since there is no Boardwalk Bakery to go to tomorrow morning (:.

We did a split stay on our last trip. AKL did not have paper plates or cutlery in our studio. But we had our own so we did not request any. We spent majority of our trip at the GF, and had no issues :D

Last week, in a 2-bedroom at BCV, the kitchen included a full set of stoneware china, glassware, and stainless cutlery. In fact, we were impressed with how complete the setup was.

I microwave oatmeal and eggs all the time in a studio. Works fine.
We have had to request more paper plates and plastic ware, on a check in, a couple of times. They are brought fairly quickly.
In a one bedroom now and it has just about everything.

This was the plate/cutlery/glass supply (less a couple glasses and a mug I was using) in my PVB studio this past week. I had already used a few bowls and plates too.

I regularly phone housekeeping during my stays and tell them what I need. Often within days as I like to hang out at the resort and use what is there pretty quickly.

And be very direct with amount.

We were in a 1 bedroom at BWV and AKL 2 weeks ago. We had plenty of plates, bowl, glasses, etc. Non was paper or plastic. Did not see any in either villa. Putting them in the dishwasher each morning before we left made cleanup easy.

The paper plates and bowls are only in studios. All the larger villas have washable plates and flatware.

Just be aware that if you have an extremely lazy housekeeper, who doesn't replenish, you may not have anything. I know that once at check-in, there were bowls, but no plates. And once at check-in, there were spoons but no forks. In that case, though, I'm sure you could call and have them delivered.

We regularly stay in a studio. I can't stand plastic utensils, so I pack a real spoon for cereal. I also pack a couple of real cereal bowls that I bought at Disney years ago, just keep bringing them back every year.
