Does DU have a phone number??

I am pretty sure we'd like to book a January 4 day cruise, but I really need to speak to a TA while making the arrangements, since it'll be me, my boys, my friend and her daughter. So I'd rather speak to a live person and talk about prices, categories, adjoining rooms, etc. I did speak with someone at allseastravel.com, and Costco but I can't seem to find an 800# for DU.

Anyone have a number?
 
They control these boards so contacting them should be easy. WebMaster John usually chimes in with some info on how to reach someone.
 
There is a 1-800 number that is available to you AFTER you have booked with them and are a customer. It is accessible from the Client Services portion of their website if you enter your reservation number and password.

However, I don't understand why you couldn't go through the online process to get a quote. They are an online travel agency. There is space to outline all of your requests (above) and a lot of room for comments. After you submit the request for a quote, you'll get an e-mail back confirming that they've received it and then you'll get an e-mail from a real/live person who can then work with you personally to book your cruise.

I've used DU 5 or 6 times for various Disney vacations (Disney World, Disneyland, a Magic Cruise, a Wonder Cruise) and they are great!

I guess I just don't have the patience. :teeth: I would want several quotes to compare prices and categories and have questions about adjoining cabins, etc. I've searched all over DU's website and I have emailed them and I just posted on another forum of theirs, but it's a little frustrating just dealing with email.

I'll have to stick with allseastravel or Costco, I guess for this trip, I just like being able to speak to someone. If the trip was just for myself and my family I wouldn't have a problem w/ emails but since I have another family traveling with us I feel better having an individual on the phone who can help me.

When I submitted my request for a quote from DU I asked for rates of 3 different categories, and they quickly responded with all of them. You can request specific cabins (tell them not to book if it is not available), and they will not apply your deposit unless they can get what you want. We e-mailed back and forth several times but all went well and I got the cabin I requested.

When booking my 02/05 cruise and receiving my quote back (that took about 12 hours) I was given the email of who my agent would be. You have 14 days, I think, to book the cruise with the quoted rate or they release the quote and you have to try again. Anyways, I immediately emailed my TA, Dagny Y., with 4 different room possibilities (I was also booking for another family at the same time also) and she would get back to me in a very short amount of time--within minutes. She has been wonderful and I would highly recommend you just give DU a try--I know you'll be satisfied with them!!!

If you want to PM I'll give you her email address directly and you can get an answer quicker!!!

Thanks...I did get an email back tonight from Merrie. There was no mention however about the shipboard credit (see..it's stuff like this that I would like to actually talk to someone) now I'll have to wait another day to get answer about that. Oh well. Their price is $100 less than DCL.com.
