Does disney replace ripped ponchos?

We have 5 ponchos and some of them at the "button" fastener have ripped. Will Disney replace them? Where should I bring them for a replacement.
 
Someone posted recently they can be replaced during the same trip in which they were purchased.
 
I think it is sort of an "up to the CM" sort of thing. I had one replaced last year that was several years old and I didn't even ask to replace it. Mine had ripped down the side and I went into a shop and asked to use their stapler because I was going to try to staple the rip. The CM chuckled at my request and just gave me a new one. But, I've also read reports of people being asked for their receipt.
 

I was there in May/June and had one replaced the 2nd day for a receipt. They did ask to see the receipt.
 
I bought one on our last trip and it tore. They replaced it but the CM did ask for a receipt.
 
They replaced mine and didn't ask for a receipt. I was expecting them to ask for it and was in the process of pulling it out when the CM said that's ok and gave me a new poncho.

I think they will replace it on the same trip you bought it. So if it rips during your trip, make sure to get new ones before you leave for the next time.

For the button fastener - I have used binder clips to replace them. I always have a few in my bag along with a few safety pins and paper clips. I don't know why I carry paper clips - I've used the safety pins a few times but never used the paper clips.
 
we ordered ours from the Disney shop online, and a few weeks later when we took them to the park, the snap/button ripped out of them, rendering them unusable. Just as well we didn't try to have them replaced (they only cost $5 each) because we did not have the receipt with us. We just threw them out. The following year we got Frogg's Toggs ponchos and they have held up much better.
 
We purchased two on the last day of our trip last fall (only day we had rain) and one ripped right away. I didn't have time to exchange it before leaving, so I emailed Disney when I got home (included a copy of the receipt) and they were nice enough to send me a new one.
 
We bought some last April. When we returned in August, one of them was ripped. I went to the store at the Beach Club and asked if I could get a new one. He took the ripped one and gave me a new one. No receipt required.
 
It must depend. I tried twice a while ago (in DTD and in the park) to replace a ripped one and was told they needed to see my receipt. I didn't have it, so they said no.
