I dont think they would hire and outside vendor to supply them with information that takes place in there resorts/park.
They can have one person simply enter the data base, set the search filters ( time period, DVC member, restaurant charges or theme park admission ) hit enter and compare it to the last weeks activity. Then print the results in graph form.
Then the disney employee reports to his supervisor spending has increased or decreased for a period of time in a specific area.
Then a decision is made to give us discounts. Disney success is not an accident. What other company uses bone structure imaging to ID a customer ( Annual passes ).
I think its good business, but I kinda like getting discounts so I try to be descrete with my spending habits. Make them work for for our dollars.
