...or do I need to let them know??

I noticed on my cruise papers from the travel agent that it says nothing about being a CC member. Do I need to let Disney know or when I check it will it show on their computer?

It should show in their computer that you are a returning cruiser.

If you want to be sure, have your travel agent contact DCL and check for you.

It never shows on any paperwork from my travel agent either that I am a Castaway Club member.

The safest thing is to have your TA get your CC member number from DCL (sorry, I've lost the telephone number you could call for it) so that you can remind DCL in case they forget ....they seem to do that a lot.

Especially if you cruised with someone else your first time!!!! My mom and I cruised together the first time I ever went on DCL. Even though both our names were on the reservation and we paid separately (but stayed in the same room), the CC number was issued in her name only. My name was on the membership, but only one number was given. I had to call and straighten this out when my DH and I wanted to cruise the next year.

If i have given Dreams my lead casterway club number, and all of my familiy of four have cruised with DCL beofre , same names etc, will they know 4 CC members are there and put it all together, or should i give Dreams all of our numbers.

It is my understanding that it doesn't matter if one or four members of a stateroom are CC members. The gifts are the same PER STATEROOM and the invite to the reception is given to each stateroom with a CC member.

I just gave the TA my CC number to put on the reservation, even though all four members of the family (in the same stateroom) are members. If you have two staterooms then I would give them the number of a member in each.

Thank you for posting that phone number ColeenD. I just called and got my membership number. Yippee!!! The CM told me they will be mailing out information on the Castaway Club within 6 to 8 weeks following your first cruise. A membership number was assigned to each my DH and myself.

I am so happy to be an official member!!! Now I'm a Disney number!!!:hyper:
