This might be a little long, so please bear with me.
We wanted to book a room at Pop for 11/29-12-6, non-pref, AAA discount, and I planned to add dining and tix down the road, so I wanted to book through AAA. We also really like the parking pass, so that was another reason for going that way.
Of course, at the same time, I'm hoping a killer code comes out for those dates, in which case I'd rather book with Disney directly so that I wouldn't have to wait on my agent to try and get said code applied, especially if it comes out over a weekend.
So, I called my agent today, and she said there were no AAA rates available at Pop on my dates. Next, I called Disney directly, and they DID have AAA availability, so I booked it. Can anyone explain why I would get 2 different answers? Does Disney hold AAA rooms for themselves, or did someone just happen to cancel during those couple of minutes?
