Does disney have a car rental place?

I thought I read somewhere that they have a place where you can rent a car for a day or two.
If so, where is it?
Is it convenient?
Would it just be easier to take a cab or something else?
It would be for 2 families of 4 going from Disney to IOA and a couple of other things around Orlando.

National & Alamo are located at the car care center, which is near the entrance to the MK's T&TC. If you are staying on property, you can contact the car care center & they will send a shuttle over to get you, bring you to the CCC and you can rent your car. when you are done, you bring the car back to the CCC, and then catch the shuttle of whatever resort you are at (or want to go to at that time). I have done this several times & it was so easy!
