not sure Emma..I used a Visa debit card....is that the same thing??? If you use a 'proper' visa card they charge you a wee percentage.

I booked on a switch/maestro and electron is pretty similar I think.

I hate the way that you sometimes get penalised for actualy wanting to pay with money instead of Credit! Although I did get a mastercard just to make my life easier, as eventhough switch is meant to be a 'great' international payment method, it's not work in LA, Bloomingdales in NYC, and every shop in Dubai - so I think it's just a European thing.

I remember I booked with VISA debit card, they din't charge or anything... I've also booked on my VISA credit card as well and no other charges were made...

I booked with Visa Credit and no extra charges (as long as you pay on time! lol!) however they accept visa debit too, i checked!
