Does Disney always have some sort of AP resort discount?

I was hoping for Disney to release AP discounts for the end of September, but they just released until mid august....do they always have discounts for AP holders no matter what time of year (so I just have to wait until the finally release those) or do they make it subject to how booked their resorts are? Just wondering if I should book a room now or wait for the AP rates which would be a few months from now?

i am pretty sure they always have the AP discounts.
You could always just call up Disney Reservations and ask them

They seem to have AP rates for the whole year, but they are usually the last specials relesed. They are subject to blackout dates also.

I have been an AP holder off and on since 2000. In that time there was only one September that there was no AP discounts. (from what I saw) So while yes they do typically have AP rates there is always a chance that there may not be.
