Does Disney allow you to decorate yourself?

Okay, I know grammatically it should be, "Does Disney allow you, yourself, to decorate," but I'm not splitting hairs.

My fiance and I weren't really planning on doing much decorating for our ceremony at Seabreeze Point, because neither of us are very frou-frou and like simplicity. However, our best man's girlfriend offered to do the decorating for the ceremony as a wedding present. I told her that was fine, as long as Disney said it was okay, since she has good taste and won't go too overboard.

However, is it okay? Though we've sent in our paperwork, we haven't been assigned a coordinator yet so I have no one official to ask. I'd love to have an answer before our friend starts buying supplies in preparation so she doesn't waste any time or money.

We wanted it simple and elegant too and kept the decorations to a minimum, but we decorated our wedding site (WL Sunrise Terrace) and I've read where other brides have done theirs as well. My best friend put tablecloths and vases on the tables and the garbage can on the Terrace. They refused to move the garbage can/ashtray off the Terrace for our wedding, fortuntately after she decorated it you couldn't even tell what it was! Also, a co-worker made beautiful bows for the benches, which looked perfect! DH and I made the silk bouquets for the decorative vases and I had a remembrance vase (and rose provided by Disney) for my mom. So, long answer short - yes you can decorate it yourself. But, you have to work with your coordinator on the timing. Our ceremony was at 3:00 and apparently there was one at 1:00 so my friend wasn't allowed to do it until about 2:15. It looked SO nice
