Does DFTW allow this?

My DF and I booked our honeymoon for 11 nights at POR now we are thinking about switching to renting points for a DVC. Does renting from DVC still count till the 4 night minimum stay?????? Also, in your honest opinion is it a good idea to switch to renting a DVC or should be just stick to the MYW package at POR?

Yes they do allow it (at least at last check--you might want to double check with someone official) and in my opinion (as a DVC member and former Disney Bride) it is DEFINITELY worth it! You get a Deluxe resort for sometimes LESS than the moderate and all the amenities that go with it. My personal favorite (depending on the time of year) is Boardwalk for colder weather and Beach club for warmer weather!! But they are all fantastic...the OKW resorts are the largest if you are thinking of getting ready in the room with any number of people...

Yes it does count! Make sure you get the reservation # & tell your EM. I rented points for a 2 bedroom at Beach Club Villas, my sister also rented from the same member a 1 bedroom at Beach Club Villas. I just gave my EM the ressie #'s & they counted both week stays.
