Does Delta do credits for price changes?

I just bought my ticket for my flight in March to MCO at a price I'm happy with, but I am noticing that flights out in the next month or so are also a bit cheaper than what i've been seeing for March. I know I've seen mention that some of the "discount" airlines will give you a credit off price changes towards a future flight. Does anybody know if Delta does the same thing, or if it would be subject to their change fees if I wanted to rebook under the cheaper airfare?

I believe you will have to pay the change fees to change you tickets.

If you cancel the first one and buy knew ones, I think they will fee you on that too. I don't think you will get a credit or what you already spent.

Have you check the delta website?

Excepting Thanksgiving, November doesn't have nearly the demand for flights to Florida as March/Spring Break season in the northeast.

But, in any event, you would have to pay a change fee, usually of ~$150/ticket, to rebook. It is unlikely your flights will go down that much.

Thanks. I didn't think i'd be able to get an easy credit, but I figured it never hurts to ask. I was happy with the price I paid so if it goes down slightly, it goes down. No big deal.

You gotta include Alaska in that list...it's part of their two-pronged low price guarantee. I consider them to be a major airline.

It's not in the top 10 largest US domestic airlines, so I didn't consider it.

United, Delta, American, SW, Jet Blue, Airtran, Allegiant, Midwest, Virgin America, are we getting close enough down the list to include Alaskan?

A bunch of large airlines only exist on yet to be repainted planes.

Alaska has to be higher on that list than Virgin America. As much as I VA, it doesn't go to many places, and Alaska definitely positively DOES. Plus they partner with so many other airlines (like Delta) and go internationally... (OK fine VA has Toronto now, LOL)

Alaska is 12th in North America, and 11th in the US. (Honestly, it's not that hard to look this stuff up.)

When the United/Continental merger closes, Alaska will be #10. When the Southwest/Airtran closes, Alaska will be #9. But, that's not because it's getting bigger. It's because everyone else is.

That said, for someone who lives in the pacific northwest, Alaska is effectively Delta, because they are a feeder line.
