Does Cirque du Soleil usually sell out?

Does anybody ever just buy tickets at the box office when they get to WDW? Or does Cirque always sell out?

I know the earlier you buy, the better your seat, but I'm not sure I'm ready to commit the $$ yet.

I just checked availability via their web site for Jan 15, and the seats were still great. With less than two months to go, I would have thought that people wanting to pre-buy would have done so already. Is this a good sign that we might be able to walk up and get seats? I'm hesitant to purchase in advance because I want to go on our arrival day, but what if there's a plane delay, rental car delay, hotel delay, etc., etc.

Thanks for any input you can give.

They don't always sell out. The dates that you are looking at is the slow season for WDW so you may have luck on that aspect.

As far as not being ready to commit to the $$ I completely understand. It took me 5 years to go see La Nouba and now that I have I have seen all but one of the Cirque shows... Hubby and I have become huge Cirque fans, even traveled all over the US to catch their other shows while they were on tour (and Vegas for the Permenant shows there). The money seems like a big issue until you have seen one of the shows... you won't regret going :)

Thanks. I'll probably end up risking it and hoping for seats when we get there.

It does sound like a great show--glad to hear you love it!

we got our seats same day and the show was GREAT. stopped by at 4:00 for the 6:00 show, then went shopping. sat in the back row, but dead center, and the seats were terrific.

only drawback ;) was that they were so good that it made other WDW acts seem "amateurish" by comparison (balancing act at Epcot in France, Festival of the Lion King, Tarzan Rocks, etc.) :D
