Does changing party number affect CC?

My parents are travelling with us, and I've booked all our ADRs as 7 people. Both my parents wear out easily though and they are not sure how long they will keep up with us. So if I have a reservation for 7, but only 4 or 5 of us show up (my youngest may or may not wear out as quickly as grandma/grandpa) will we be charged for the missing people? Its something we can't really predict, it will all be how they are feeling that day.

No, only if no one shows up. Less people is normally not a problem.

The pp is correct. As long as some of you show up, you will not be charged for the ones that do not.

I just called to ask about adding a person to one ADR and asking about if all 8 did not show up at another ADR.

She said that "I should call if all 8 are not going to show up because they might charge a penalty, if you call then there is not a penalty."

We frequently book ADR for 6 for our family of 5. (The computer system doesn't always like odd numbers.) We have never been charged for having a "missing" person.
