Does Cap'n Jack's run out of lobster often?

Made an ADR for Cap'n Jack's at 8:30 pm specifically for the twin lobster tails. But I read a post where the poster said they went there at 8:00 pm and were told that they had run out of lobster tails. They were extremely disappointed since that's (like us) the only reason they made their ADRs at Cap'n Jack's.

So has anyone else had an 8:00 or later ADR there and was told they had run out of lobsters?

I also read a post that said Cap'n Jack's is the only TS resturant in DTD on the DDP for 2007. Is that right?

Not sure about the running out of lobster thing, but it is not the only TS at DTD...well actaully it is the only TS place on the DDP in the Marketplace end, but then except for the RF Cafe I think it is the only TS restaurant in the Marketplace end. Wolfgang Puck's Cafe is included on the dining plan and it is on the Westside end of DTD.

That's probably what the poster said, that it is the only TS on the DDP in the "Marketplace". Thanks for clarifying that and that WPC is on the Westside end. Never knew or even thought of that.

Now, has anyone been told that Cap'n Jack's was out of lobster when they arrived to eat with or without an ADR?

We ate there twice and DH got his lobster both times. We did have late ressies, and once on a Friday night.

1) Yes, they do run out of lobster somewhat often.
2) They only order so many per day.
3) If people are eating lobster a lot that day, they run out early.
4) If people stay away from the lobster, they don't run out.
5) The later the ADR, the riskier.
6) Unfortunately, there is no way to determine (or guess) availability.

I was wondering that too, but i'm still gonna eat there. My DH wants me to stop changing my ADR'S.

I'll be changing our ADR then. We don't like the odds and don't want to be disappointed. Besides, the reviews seem to be about 50 - 50 love it or hate it anyway.
