My daughter has a 7:35pm flight. She wanted to spend some time in DD the last day.

Does the bus go directly from POP to DD?

How long does it take approximately, so she can figure out when to get back in time for DME? I know DME will pick her up 3 hours before her scheduled flight.

Or would it be better she had lunch at one of the resorts that day, would she have more time to play with?

Yes, there is a direct bus from POP to DTD and back.

However, if Typhoon Lagoon is open, the bus may swing through there also.

I would give at least an hour to make the bus from DTD to the resort, and you need to be at the front of your resort at least 30 minutes before the bus pickup time.

There is a bus from Pop to DTD. Sometimes it will also stop at Typhoon Lagoon. Plus, it stops at the old Pleasure Island/West side stop.

I think I'd want to make sure I was on my way back to Pop at least an hour before the time they want you for ME. They'll give her a pick up time that is right about 3 hours before the flight time, but they also want you there at least 15 minutes before the departure time. You can't count on a bus being at the DTD stop right when you get there -- it may have just left, so you'd be waiting 20 minutes for the next bus.

For a 7:35 p.m. flight, I'd be going to a themepark that day. You can do a lot between 9:00 and 3:00.

From experience :scared: I'd recommend she be on the bus back to Pop Century TWO hours before her Magical Express pickup time. I boarded at the first stop; at the other stop, we waited for a shift change , then went to Typhoon Lagoon, then, okay, I had to pick up something from the gift shop... trust me. She should leave Downtown Disney no later than 2:30. Now, I had to go there, because I had to get stuff from Earl of Sandwich and Goofy's.

But Sandi's right. She could easily stay at DHS until 3 or 3:30, and adding another day to her park pass is only about $5.
