Does Budget charge for extra drivers?

When I called them they said it depended on the city. If it is for a spouse/domestic partner in Orlando, then no, there wasn't an extra charge.

I was just on the phone with Budget today asking them the same question because Alamo (with the same rate) didn't charge for an additional driver...

Budget told me they do not charge for the spouse (provided he/she is older than 25).

How did you get a rate with Alamo that didnt charge for an additional driver? I currently have Budget and Alamo ressies and Budget confirmed they didn't charge for spouse as an additionaly driver but Alamo said there was no way to get the additional driver fee waived in Orldando, even with a quicksilver membership. Just wondering, thanks!

When I booked my Alamo res. on-line, it was right there on the page where they show all the charges etc...it read something to the effect of 1 additional driver included. It even shows it on my email confirmation.

Karen-- Do you know which code you used? If it is the Costco code, it does include an extra driver at no charge. Otherwsie, if you call them then they do charge.

Yes, I did use the Costco code...I find it interesting that through Costco, there's no charge for an additional driver but using other discount codes, there is...
I also have a BJ's membership and I think I recall a free additional driver using them as well.
