Does Bed Bath & Beyond still take expired coupons?

I have 3 20% off 1 items that expired on 1/4, and I need a few things over there.

Yes, they will take expired coupons. I was told many times that they do this and I've also had them take one coupon for every item I had in my order too.

Yes, they do!

I work there PT. The only exception to the expireds is the certificates that you print from the internet/email. Those we have to honor the expiration date AND you can only use one of those. But the regular coupons you can use as many as you want!!!

Another wonderful thing I learned at Bed Bath and Beyond:

I was at one miles away from my house and forgot my coupons while buying a wedding gift. I was grumping a bit at the checkout and the cashier told me if I brought back the receipt plus the coupon they would adjust the amount and give me credit. I brought it back a few weeks later and they did! I don't recall if it was store credit or back on my card because I think I was there to buy some other things.

Yes, that is correct. It will be credited back to you however you paid. IF you do cash/debit you will get the cash back, and if you paid with a credit card it will go back on the card.

The coupons I've received recently from them now have a big note on them saying they will not honor coupons after the expiration date. So, I guess it depends on the store.

My store said only the ones that are mailed to you. Not the ones from the newspaper or the magazines.

Ours usually come in the mail or in any Sunday newspaper. They are a thick stock paper, and easy to collect.

Our BBand B still takes them. We receive them in the mail and they are in sunday newspapers. (central NJ)

Buy Buy Baby is owned by the son of the owner of BB&B (or something like that), so they accept the BB&B coupons. Babies R Us takes competitor coupons, so they accept the BB&B coupons too! (At least they do here in Austin, TX).

I just used one a few minutes ago! And it was from JULY. I got a Melissa & Doug wooden cookie playset marked down from $20 to $10 so I paid $8. First Hanukkah gift for DD stockpiled...check!
