Does BBB give any touring advantage?

DD7 is wanting to do BBB on our August trip. She wants to do it in the castle and it’s we only have one MK day this trip. I’m trying to determine when would be the best time to do it to minimize lost park time and taking into consideration the heat of she chooses to wear a dress for a bit. I’m looking at the possibility of doing the first time slot at I believe 8am if I can get it. My question is, how long does this take? Any chance we would be out in time for 7DMT or Peter Pan? Not a big deal if not, I just don’t want to lose a bunch of valuable rope drop time. Otherwise I’m shooting for an 11am time after we’ve had a chance to ride with short lines. Also, how many of us can go with her. It’s Dh, myself, DD7, DS6, and DS 18months. If I do a PPO time, do we all go in or does DH and the boys come later? Thanks!

1. 45-50 min. give or take.
2. Yup.
3. Your group can all go.

While my entire party will enter the park early for two kids' BBB PPO at MK, is there anything DH and my two other DSs can do during the BBB appointment? Where will CMs hold them as the 9am opening time nears? We have an 8:30am appointment, and with two kids, I figure there's no way we'll be out before the park opens, even if I arrive at 7:45am at the front gate. So unoccupied family members can do what exactly? Is there a rope where they'll be held near the castle? Would they be in good position for SDMT and/or other Fantasyland rides? What about Buzz?

8. What about Buzz?
1. Not very much "early" at all, as everyone who comes to the MK gates can enter Main St. at a bit before 8:00AM.
2. Have a snack at Main St. Bakery and/or stroll Main St. (Just not much, specifically.)
3. They may be able to head from the castle to Fantasyland a bit before 9AM.
4. Yup.
5. See #2.
6. Maybe.
7. Very likley. (Peter Pan would be another choice for "first," as an alternative.)
8. Not so much, but Buzz will not be "backed up" at 9AM (or for awhile after,) anyway.

So If I have myself, my wife, DD, and DS and 1 appt at BBB for 8am, what will me and my son be able to do? Just stroll around, get a jump on rides? Will I be able to go into BBB if my wife is in there? Can we switch on and off if I'm close by?

1. Yes. (But, not necessarily very far into Fantasyland, and not anywhere else besides Main St.)
2. Maybe. Sometimes.
3. Yes.
4. Yes.

There isn't much room in the BBB at Magic Kingdom. I was in a scooter and could not enter when my granddaughter was getting transformed to a princess, when we had an 8:30 am appointment. There would not have been a lot of room for the fairy godmother in training are working.
