Not talking about the website, but the actual service that people pay money to be members.
Lots of people have AOL accounts. They aren't just dial-up, they have high speed service as well. I know several people that still use it for mail, and they pay.Of course they still exist as a mail service.Lots of people have AOL accounts. You say that like everybody should know that. I can't say that I know anybody who has an AOL email account. Maybe I do, but just don't know it. Most people I know use gmail, verizon, or yahoo.

... or pay more attention to email addresses.I guess I just know more people...or get more email...than you do then.![]()

I still have aol and go on every day. I have most of my favorites on there still except for Facebook, for some reason it won't work through aol for me.
I don't pay though, a few years ago I called and told them I wanted the free service and they just changed it over. I have almost everything I had before, the search for members is the only thing I noticed I can't get into.
I know you can keep your email address but will it keep all of your old folders? I have years of emails in my saved folders and I'm afraid I'll lose them.

DH & I both still have AOL accounts. We do not pay for them. You say that like everybody should know that. I can't say that I know anybody who has an AOL email account. Maybe I do, but just don't know it. Most people I know use gmail, verizon, or yahoo.
The reason we have AOL accounts is because they are for our businesses. Considering we don't pay anything for them, it was easier to keep them than to change everything & notify all our clients of the change.I think the only folks who are still on AOL are the ones who were not able to navigate the landmine of trying to unsubscribe from AOL.
Well, I know for a fact that I don't have any AOL addresses in my contacts. Is that enough attention for you?
