Does anyone want to link their room(s) to any of mine? And what happened to Surf?

Hi,

this is a question for any of my DIS/VMK friends: the only rooms I have linked to anyone elses are to the Villains lobby and DIS lobby. I thought it would be fun to link one or more of my favorite rooms to one or more of my friends' rooms, just so we all have more rooms to hang out in!

If anyone is interested in linking up, let me know! Post here or pm, although posting is better so my inbox won't get full (yeah, like I'm expecting EVERYONE to want to link to me! LOL. I'm hoping some ppl will though!)

P.S. I also have a teleport that goes to Surferrat's lobby...but I have not seen him in ages! Does anyone know if he is still on vmk/dis? I remember the good old days hanging at the Surf Spot...what ever happened to Surf? Last I checked, he was still on my friend list, so I don't think he was banned or deleted me, but he hadn't been on in a while. Just curious, I never heard anything!

Thanks you guys! I will start meeting up with everyone on my friends list who wants to link. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to have a central teleport room, or just link certain people to certain rooms. I have so many rooms I don't want to link them all! LOL but I might...

so, I know that valeriesunshine, someybody, and maybe cteddiesgirl? (I don't remember...are you?) are on my friends list already.

the rest of you, I will be on tonight and you can look for me in my rooms (I will be working on the teleports, so search for "Miakoda" if you are on! NO "WDW"!) if we don't catch each other tonight, we can set up another time. Yay!

Actually I think i may be making a central teleport room for everyone to link to, and then have certain rooms of mine (my faves) linked to that room. That works out best. If you have door teleporters, those will probably be best for linking, they take up less space than the others, and match pretty much any room, unlike the coffins. Whatever color you have is good, and remember the pink ones are free! But I don't really care what type you use, since on my end they will just go in a teleport room, so if you want to be different than everyone else and give me a rare teleporter, that is fine. If you don't have any extras and cannot afford to get one (but the pink doors are FREE! LOL), I may be able to give you one of mine. I have a lot of extra pink doors and coffins. But other than that, I ask that you supply the teleports! And don't worry...if someday (any day) you change your mind, you can always let me know, and I'll give your other half back to you.

I do believe that they are still non-tradable.
With the semi-rampage Yavn seems to currently be on, I don't think that will change any time soon.
Which is a shame because I have about 14 sets sitting in a storage room.

Thanks for meeting with me last night to add my teleporter to your lobby. I am always glad to let people see my rooms. As I said they are all linked on the river/train/slide so people can do a grand tour of every room. I am working on adding the few rooms I am missing they will be on line and added to the tour soon.

Your purple and gold room was really looking good can't wait to see it finished.

Unfortunately as the others have said the pink doors are no longer tradable. And the web address site where "we" used to be able to get them from is no longer working. If you know of another web address that is working let me know, I would like to get a pair for one of "new" rooms.

Anyway, yes, FlyingPegasus and I discovered the pink doors are no go. So...a blue or gold door (if you are willing, and remember, the set is still yours so if you ever need them back, it's cool...if you want to trade for a different teleport or something), or coffin is the best bet. I may be letting one or two people who asked me via pm use a boat or stitch, but that's it b/c I don't want the room to get too full. I'm not expecting TOO many people to join, but I want to link most of my rooms too and I have like 35 of them. LOL I won't link them ALL though! Just the good ones.

And eywprincess, The gold and purple room is actually finished: I was just setting up the gold door for the hub. the rest of it was finished a long time ago I'm glad you like it!

If anyone does not have any teleporters and has no money to buy a coffin set (I think they are about 500...I have not bought a set since like last year tho...), I have a FEW I can give to people. I have plenty of pink doors to link my rooms, but some of them (like my HM room) will need one of my coffins...the pink doors just don't go! I'm even willing to buy a couple of coffins if needed. So please try to get them yourself, but if you can't I totally understand and will help you if I can! It's worth it if I can afford it to get lots of people hooked on

also, for those that have not linked in yet, I'm putting a picture above each teleporter with your name, the name of your room, and a little description of the room. So I will need to come to each room and take a picture (preferably with you in it)! When you decide on a room, think of a good spot to sit or stand that shows off a good part of your room (I know it's a pretty small shot, we need bigger lenses on our cameras) and I will take the pic probably the same time we trade teleports.

Yes, that is fine. I think I have about 6 or 7 spots available (not counting ShadowKK). I can add more if I need to, they just won't have pics above them (only so many can fit stacked against the wall! And it's a pirate cannon room so you can't put pics where there is a hole in the wall, or above or below the hole ). If I get more than 6 other requests, I can move some furniture in the middle of the room and put you there, but there won't be a picture marking where it goes. Mystery teleporters!

OK, cool! Everyone who wants to link, pm me with a good time to meet. I'm not sure if you all are on my vmk friend list, so if you are not, tell me that and what your vmk name is, in the pm. The thing is...after tomorrow, I will not be on vmk, except maybe for a minute to get my credits. I will be busy until next Wednesday, Oct. 4, when I'll be back on. So, hopefully we can meet up tonight, or tomorrow (any time after 8pm EST, or 5pm vmk time). I know that's late, 5 hours until closing, but hopefully with a 5 hour window tomorrow and 4 hours today (it's almost 9 here now, and I'm about to get on), we can meet. So in your pm put whether you want to meet tonight or tomorrow, and what time after 8pm eastern. I'll be in my room then, so you can search room titles for my name. Also, if it's tonight, make sure you give me at least 30-45 minutes to meet after you send the pm, don't send one saying "lets meet now, I'm in my room" or something b/c I'll be on vmk and only checking here every half hour or so, and will not get it right away unless I just happen to check it right after you send it! LOL
