Does anyone use Isagenix?

I did it last year (x-mas 2007- March 2008). The results were awesome but it was so difficult to stay on that program. I lost 30+ inches and 15 pounds in 2 months (this was about 2 sizes for me). I could have done better if I hadn't started just before Christmas. So I had the holidays and a family vacation in the mix. There I was drinking my shake every morning while everyone else pigged out at the breakfast buffet at our hotel. :rotfl2: I did allow myself a cheat meal on Christmas Day and New Years.

I got so many compliments but it got too difficult not being able to eat food. Especially at dinnertime. I still cooked for my family but then I mixed up my shake and sat down with them at the dinner table. God, I would have given anything to be able to chew and not drink my meals.

It's insanely expensive too. I've found I can do just about the same thing buying protein shake mix and one of those Hollywood 2 day juice cleanse drinks at Walgreens.

I kept it off all last year but have had a difficult time this year with stuff happening/stress and I've gained almost all of that 15 back.

Good luck. You have to be really strong/motivated with this program so you won't cheat.

I only did the 9-day cleanse but I too had great results. I lost about 10 pounds in the 9 days. I agree with it being insanely expensive but, in saying that, I do love the bars and the snacks help with hunger pangs in a pinch. They are easy to take with you and easy to pop in your mouth when you need them. I do still use the bars and the snacks and sometimes a few other products but after the 9 day cleanse, I gave up the full program. I also like chewing my meals.

Best of luck if you decide to do this. You will have a great initial result, the key is keeping it off!! :flower3:

I just lost 8 lbs on the Isagenix 9 day cleanse. I am going to Disney next week and plan to continue with the 30 day cleanse after that. I love the product.

It is not really that expensive - you are replacing two meals a day with Isagenix - so you buy less groceries. The wholesale prices are much less than retail. I buy them wholesale.

You can PM me if you need more information.

I have been a weight watcher for years.
I lost 50 + lbs. on WW.
Then gained it all back with a pregnancy.
After the birth I floundered with WW and found it dam near impossiable to get back on track.
My sister put me on the Isagenix program.
She signed me up as an associate so I got the program for wholesale prices.
I love this program!:dance3::dance3:
I have found it easy to follow the 30 day program, it's not as grueling as the 9 day program.
I have 2 shakes a day breakfast and lunch, and eat dinner every evening with my family.
I have lost 18.6 lbs. and have 20 maybe 30 to go.
I like the fact that the products are 100% organic as well.
I will stay on the maintaince program when I have lost all my weight.
I love the way this product makes me feel.:dance3::dance3:

Thanks for all of the input. I ordered the program in June and it has been sitting on my counter since, but I have decided tomorrow is the day! I would like to lose 25-30 pounds. Nothing to lose by getting started but unhealthy habits!

good luck! a lady at my hair salon is a triathalete and she swears by it so I picked her brain about it for a long time. the owner of our salon has done the 9 day cleanse and lost 15 pounds but has since put it back on after she finished. if you have the motivation to keep the weight off you should be ok! :)

Hi Heather, if you have any questions about your program feel free to ask me.
I will help in any way I can. :thumbsup2
I know from experience it's nice to have someone doing the same program.
Just to share with. :)

I haven't posted on the DIS in months, but just received my 30day supply of Isagenix and came here to check out if anyone had reviews.

I plan to start tomorrow (Thursday) and do an initial cleanse on Saturday. Is that unreasonable?

What should I expect from "the cleanse"? Will I be able to leave the house? :rotfl:

I know from past experience that if I totally deny myself, I will TOTALLY over-indulge, so I plan on "cheating" from time to time. I've also heard that it's helpful to have a piece of fruit with the shakes.

I figure how bad can 30 days be? Even if I only do weekdays...

I have at least 60# to lose, but don't know that I want to spend the money for months of Isagenix. Guess I'll see what happens. My "associate" is an old high school friend, so I'm hopeful he wouldn't steer me wrong just to make money.

Good luck. I love Isagenix. I have been using it since July 14 and am hooked. Yes - you will be able to leave the house on the cleanse days. Isagenix ix NOT a colon cleanse.

Starting on Thurs with the first cleanse on Sat is not unreasonable. I first did the 9 day cleanse and had two shake days then my first cleanse.

Saturday for a cleanse day is not bad as long as you don't do alot of entertaining on the weekends.
Also remember that on a cleanse day you can have some friut or raw veggies.
Lots of water as well.
However please try and follow the 30 days as laid out.
If you take weekends off you will find it harder to lose the pounds.
Good luck to you! :)
