I’ve never been on SM at DL so I can’t compare, but I really do hope they redo the tracks in WDW and smooth out the ride. As it is now, I find it waaaaay too jerky. It hurts to ride! I love a good, old wooden roller coaster, but SM, maybe because of how you’re sitting in the cars, knocks me around too much to be fun.
Even better if they can add the side-by-side seating to double capacity because the queue gets way too long for a ride that I find too painful to be enjoyable. If I were by myself I’d skip it, but the people I travel with love it, so I always end up waiting. I got bruises on my legs from it the last time I rode!
Once Tron opens would be a perfect time to close SM for an extended time. I doubt it will happen, but one can hope.
