Does anyone stay at the VWL anymore?

Has anyone recently stayed at the VWL???????????? We are going for our first stay home in Nov. and can't wait.
I would love to see some pics, pretty please. Any update on the sofa beds? Except for the groupies thread I don't read a lot about the VWL.

I think the groupies are purposely trying to keep things quiet. They don't want their little secret to get out and cause undue demand on their little VWL!

We stayed there in June. It was nice & quiet Old sleeper sofa though & the room did show some wear. We had a DVD player, but a regular TV.

We stayed there in June. It was nice & quiet Old sleeper sofa though & the room did show some wear. We had a DVD player, but a regular TV.

Oh frig the old sofa......Grandma won't be thrilled.

We haven't been since January of this year. We're going in December, 5 nights the week before Christmas, and staying in a 1-br.

We love VWL and can't wait to get back home. I have been reading about the improvements on the DIS and have not read anything new about the sofa bed. That is unfortunate, but the new mattresses are a most welcome change. The DVD player doesn't matter too much to me, as I do not use it while on vacation.

While we spent most of our vacation the first week of Oct at OKW, we did spent 1 night at VWL. Of the 4 resorts we own at, it is my wife's absolute favorite. She wants me to do another add-on of points at VWL, but I think I'm going to do a GCV instead, so we can go to DLR every 2-3 years.

You will love VWL!

That's like saying "except for the Titanic there aren't any big ships sitting in the harbor".

For our december trip we booked day by day at the 11 month window and still got put on the waiting list for one of the studios (which came through).

Soooo, yeah, I'd say people are still staying at VWL

Our first DVC trip was to a studio at VWL, it's the place we both love, and we're heading there in less than two weeks with the entire family! Then we're going there again for our December trip.

I want to thank goofydad99 for the pictures. My DGC were so pumped up when I talked to them yesterday, and after seeing your pictures, my heart is beating a little faster too!

Well, you know.......the children are like human tornados. Everywhere they go they leave a trail behind them. We had literally just arrived. I had to hurry around the room and take pictures before it got messy. I am sticking to it.

We stayed a few weeks ago, also stayed at BCV AKL and VB.
What can I say, I love to hop around!
Anyway, WL was our hands down favorite. So much so that we bought more points. So much so that next F&W trip we are staying there instead of BCV's.
Love it. Want to join the groupie club.
