Does anyone save TS for adults and pay OOP for kids?

Ok I'm sure this has been asked but I can't read through all the pages to find out...must know now! Can I pay for all my son's TS meals OOP. He's 6 and eats chicken fingers, fries and hot dogs! I'd hate to "waste" TS's on his dinners. This way my hubbie and I can have extra TS's for breakfasts or 2TS's restaurants.

this is a big no-no on DDP and a very HOT topic on these boards. Suffice to say that your card will specify 2 adults & 1 child and you will not be allowed to use child credits for adult meals.

Seriously tho...no, you can't do that.

Adult TS credits and child TS credits are separated.

Child credits cannot be used for adult meals. Period.

How is it a "waste"? It was either free if your going during free dining or $10.99, a childs CS, TS and snack will add up to at least $10.99 but often be more than that.

Due to the fact that people were doing that last year Disney has now cracked down. Adult credits and child credits are now separated.

So if you don't use the child credits on your son you won't be able to use them for adults and then that really would be a waste. Have your son use his credits and enjoy your vacation.

Yes, I'll admit that we did the first year we did the DDP and it saved us some money on two of the meals. Last year we were unable to because they separated the credits, and same for this year.
