Does Anyone Remember this at EPCOT (regarding your dining)

Ok, getting off topic, but you just helped solve a little family argument. My dad insists the hoop de do review used to be in MK (diamond horseshoe) and my mom clearly recalls going to fort wilderness. I was 6 so don't remember but I do remember the inside set up and they both look the same to me. So this solves it that there was a type of lunch review show at the mk too that we must have also gone to!

Plus I think the Diamond Horshoe was more the cowboy, shoot-em-up saloon with can-can girls show. The Hoop-De-Doo is the stage coming into our little town with a wholesome funny show. It was worth it to do both!

Yes, I remember this back from 1985. My mom was able to "talk" to someone in the computer screen and make reservations. One day we went to the Biergarten in Germany & the other night we ate in Paris. Being a Freshman in High School I had "GA-GA" eyes over our waiter in Paris. To this day I still remember his name.....Mimiel (pronounced Ma-meel). Boy he was HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

DH and I were talking about that the other day. We loved being able to walk up to the monitors and get any restaurant you wanted!!! That was before Dining Plans also!!

Thank you for bringing back such a pleasant memory of Epcot. I remember going in the early 80's (must have been around 10 years old) and making a reservation to eat in Germany (I think) for the evening. It also made me remember that around 1985 we made reservations before arriving at Disney for the character breakfast that was in the big white paddle boat.
