dispensers at the MK? They were metal containers with a metal handle sticking out of the bottom. When you jiggled the handle, soap powder would come out into your hand. I know the MK was not the only place that had these types of dispensers, but for some reason that is the only place I can remember for sure that had them.

Just one of those crazy memories that popped in my head when thinking about WDW.

I will come out and admit it, I loved the pink powdered soap too! :Pinkbounc I distinctly remember them having it at the Disney Welcome Center in Ocala up until a few years ago as well. It was something just distinctly cool that only Disney would have, kind of like the monorail. Ah, we Disney dweebs are great, huh?

We had those in elementary school, but I don't remember them at WDW.

How funny! That soap would always remind me of elementary school too!!

My grandpa had one in their bathroom. As little girls my sisters and I thought it was great fun to dispense it really fast, repeatedly, all over the floor. It made a pink floor.

I remember them--my kids never saw them before WDW--About two or three years ago when they stopped using those things my kids were the ones who pointed it out to me. I would have never even noticed without the kids pointing out this change to me.

I miss the soap powder. My hands felt "cleaner" tha it does with liquid soap, don't know why.

I used to love those things ;)
