Does anyone remember the game show, Supermarket Sweep???

I used to watch the game show, Supermarket Sweep. I remember thinking it was so cool because I worked at a grocery store at the time, and thought it would be so fun to get to do that in our store!!

Does anyone remember this show?? I don't guess they air reruns of the show anywhere, but if anyone knows that they do, tell me, I would love to watch!!

Yep!!! I remember the show. I had to think for a minute but then it came back.

I haven't seen that in so long, I doubt it's in reruns anywhere.

Then again, I used to watch "Press Your Luck" with Whammies....I saw a handheld of that game in Target the other day. I did a double-take. That was on an extremely long time ago.

Just as I suspected...I did a search & sure enough there are YouTube vidoes of the show. everything seems to be on there one way or another.

I loved this show. It has not been on in forever. My husband and I were just talking about it the other day. I can't find it on reruns anywhere.

I loved that show! I always yelled at the TV though while they were doing the run through the aisles because I thought I could do so much better filling up the cart, LOL!

It was a fun show! Did you check the Game Show Network? Everything seems to end up there eventually.

What I remember most about Supermarket Sweep was the Vortman cookies. I never got why people wasted their time picking them up with tongs and putting them in little bags.

I LOVED this show. They used to show it on WB or CW or one of those stations at around 6:00 p.m. but not in years. I thought it was a great show. With the resurgence of game shows lately it seems like a show that could be successful again!

I remember that one too.

And Bumper Stumpers. I just mentioned that one to DH the other day when we were trying to figure out whatever the person in front of was trying to state with their personalized license plate.

I always wanted to be on that show. I had a whole strategy worked out and everything!

When I get GSN (thanks, Dish Network) it has not been on their line up. Sadly. But the new Whammy show is and reruns of the old Press Your Luck are!

I also LOVED Supermarket Sweep! I haven't seen it on in ages! I wish the game show network would pick up that show!!! We all should send an email to the game show network (LOL!).

I do know they show a lot of older game shows like Card Sharks, Match Game, Whammy and Press your Luck. Those are fun to watch.

We don't need it to be shown in re-runs. We can just have our own Supermarket Sweep. Just go to your local supermarket, grab a cart and fill it up as fast as you can. Of course, when it comes time to pay, I'm not sure how that would work.

I used to enjoy watching this and never really understood why. I still don't get it but I'd love to see it again.

When I was a kid they filmed this show at a food store near my house in Bound Brook New jersey. I remember at the commercial break they let us kids eat the ice cream that they used for an advertisement. It was alot of fun almost being on television!
