Does anyone remember the free Dining dates from last year?

I've picked the dates for our trip, but am a little nervous to book just yet. I would like to use AAA for the discount, but if Disney does a special like they did last year, I would be tempted to change it and foresee lots of confusion The dates I have chosen are 9/27 - 10/5/2006. What would you do? Book the rooms now or wait? Thanks everyone!

I didn't go, but I remember the dates were between August and October. Personally, I would book now and then AAA will apply any changes to your package when they're available. I'm compulsive though! LOL

I'm completely compulsive too! We just got back from WDW 2 weeks ago and I'm already planning the next trip!

I believe they were from August 21st-October 4th or 5th

You had to reserve by the end of August and be in your resort by 10/2. I may be off a bit but I was there for the free dining and it was great!

The dinning ended on the 4th. We checked into pop on the 4th,, the very last day for the free dinning! So worth it... I to wish they would over it again..

Ahah! So they ended it when the fall value season ended - makes sense! Thanks everyone! I am reading predictions in other posts that they will NEVER do free dining again! I'm reading words like "madhouse" "feeding frenzy" "massive profit losses" - so funny! It sounds like it was GREAT though! Well, we are going to go - I thought it would be a great time - take advantage of the last of the value pricing, catch the beginning of the Food & Wine Festival and probably even be able to go to the first MNSSHP! Plus, nice weather! OHMIGOD, is it September yet? I can't believe my husband puts up with me. I am a very lucky woman.
