Does anyone remember Dave Barry on Disney Channel?

Am I crazy, or did Dave Barry make appearances on the Disney Channel? I guess this was the early 90s when I was quite a young child, but I remember Dave Barry appearing at Disney World and talking and joking with guests in short segments. However, there isn't any reference at all to this on the web. Am I crazy, or was that a thing?
