Does anyone Remember Crockets Tavern when they served a great Steak Dinner?

Years ago Crockets Tavern served a really good Steak Dinner... Does anyone know where they serve a Great Steak Dinner at Disney??

Outside onf the parks, Yauchtmans (sp?) streak house at the Yaucht Club. Inside the parks Canada in EPCOT. Enjoy

We've been to the Yacht Club several years ago..and had a good steak dinner there. Pricey..but it's Disney. It's where the Beach and Yacht Club resort is. Along the Storm-along Bay Pool. You can also enter in the World Showcase entrance to Epcot is really close over that way..nice way to end the evening watching the Illuminations show. Also.. I'm thinking..but not sure..isn't there an Outback. Steakhouse.or something like that outside of Disney..in Lake Buena Vista near the Goodings..I seem to remember something like that.

I miss the old Crockett's Tavern. My dh and I went there while on our first real vacation as a couple when we stayed in the FW cabins. It was my birthday and the singer that was up on the little stage sang to me and the waitress gave me a button that glowed in the dark. The food was great! My dh still talks about that bison burger that he had.

I have stated before here that I miss the Tavern being separate from the restaurant.

We used to go there and get bread pudding with whip cream ... had to ask for the whip cream. Nice and cozy, especially sitting next to the bear. He winked at me once, but that was after several beers ...

We didn't get a chance to try it this past trip, but I have heard that Le Cellier in Canada at Epcot has great steaks. I am going to make it a point to try to get there next time!

i have also heard that the concourse steak house in the contemporary has a good steak as well.

I heard that it's jus appetizers and drinks at Crockets Tavern now..is that right? Just curious is it open during the day or just in the evening?

We also miss the old Crockets. We rented a Motorhome on our honeymoon back in 1994 and really enjoyed our special dinner there.
We have eaten at Le cellier and DH really enjoyed his steak. They also have yummy cheese soup.

We have been to both the Yachtsman Steakhouse and Le Cellier. I think that Yachtsman had the best steak. When you walk in there is a butcher trimming up nicely aged steaks to order then a few steps on and you see the chefs grilling them to perfection. AWESOME! Le Cellier was also good and the cheese soup and breadsticks are to die for.

If you want take a ride head to Tampa to Bern's Steakhouse. We did this in July 2004 and it was in a class by itself. THE best steak I have ever had. Very pricey but worth it for an extravagant once in a lifetime dinner. President Bush eats there whenever he is in Florida reportedly. Some friends of mine were there in February 2004 coicidently on an evening when he was there. All they saw was the limo drive up and secret service all over. They asked the waiters but they were sworn to secrecy. Afterward they confirmed he was there for dinner.
