Does anyone own a vending machine business?

This is an idea that I am interested in getting into, but I really don't know how to find locations to place the machine.

No, but a friend of mine works for his fathers vending machine business...the family has had this business for at least 10 years, that' how long I've known the guy, and they make their living doing it, and they are very wealthy. They have soda and food machines, juke boxes, with CDs , and cigarrette machines, I guess that's it, they have a lot though, it's the husband, wife and 2 sons and a few of the sons' friends help out sometimes.

I don't really know how it would be a pyramid scam, you buy a machine and you fill it and reap the profit. For instance, if you have 10 soda machines, you pay for them and never have to hand anything over to the people you bought them from, ever again, then you fill the machine and service it every couple of days or however you want to do it, you buy cases of soda from Walmart of the grocery store and you empty out the money and deposit it in the bank, so where's the pyramid scam???

I work at a large employer, where many people come in on a daily basis. The vending machine contractor has to pay a percentage of the sales to my employer, and has to guarantee a payment of at least $________ per year. Plus, they have to have a boatload of insurance, and the vending machines need to be filled EVERY day, especially on the holidays.

Personally, not a business I would want to be in.
