Does anyone out there want to be my Dis Friend? 3 PTRs and 1 1/2 TRs in Progress!

Love the waffle maker, my kids would LOVE it. As for fantasmic, I know I wouldn't try to cram it in, but I am toting along 4 kids and moving fast is not their specialty. However if it were just DH and I, I might be up for the challenge. Is there a way you could maybe make your ressie at 8:30 instead to give you that half hour leeway?

Forgot to add, that I love the pirate look for mickey as well. Such good ideas.

I love the plans for the day. Sounds like alot of fun. I really want to check out resorts too. I am also still debating on wether we can fit in t-rex as well somewhere. LOL!

I really want to try T-Rex, that's why I'm opting to give up Fantasmic! for it rather than give it up for Fantasmic! However, Fantasmic! is one of my favorites so I made sure to book the dinner package for my March trip but we'll get to that later!

I love that waffle maker! :lovestruc
I love the Mickey Waffle Maker!!!!

Thanks! I was SOOO excited when it came in the mail and even more excited when I saw how cute they turned out! There are quite a few for sale on Ebay but you have to do your research, some of them are really expensive and others are a much better deal. I haven't seen any go for as low as $22.50 though so I'm super excited I got mine for such a deal!

I'm thinking with just my mom and I we may be able to rush a little. I've been trying so hard to move the reservation back but there is NOTHING available. I think I may have read somewhere that people were having more luck calling them directly to make the reservation but I can't seem to find the phone number....

I really enjoy designing the shirts so it's been just as much fun helping you as designing my own! I told DBF last night I need to find an excuse to go to Disney over Valentine's Day so i can make that shirt :lmao: He just looked at me like I was crazy and said I better at least wait till 2012.:rotfl:

I have so many favorites, it hard to say. I would say the Pirates is one my must dos. I just love it. Brings me back to when I was a kid.
I do like TSM, but we only rode it once. Soarin was awesome also. I LOVE Spectro Magic, which of course isn't running right now.

You're making me choose? That isnt' easy, I could better right a list of my top least favorites. I love so many different things, but forcing myself to narrow it down this is what I have come up with

10. Pirates of the Carribean/Haunted Mansion
9. Test Track
8. PhillharMagic
7. Buzz Lightyear (haven't gotten to try out Toy Story Mania yet)
6. Tower of Terror
5. Festival of the Lion King
4. Kilimanjaro
3. Space Mountain
2. Expedition Everest

We'd make good park touring partners, we have so many of the same favorites!

Have you seen Main Street Electrical Parade? Personally, it's one of my favorites and I even like it more than Spectro. I think it's because it's one of the main things I can remember from when I went as a kid.

Day 4: Dec. 3, 2010 - Epcot

Be prepared for a lot of walking. The park opens at 9:00am, be at the shuttle stop no later than 8:20am.

Walk under Spaceship Earth and head to the right towards Soarin'. Enjoy the Rope Drop and then follow the CM towards Soarin'. Pick-up a Fast Pass and then hop in line to ride. Once you've landed, make your way over to The Living Seas to check out the Seas with Nemo & Friends attraction.

After you've successfully found Nemo, take some time to enjoy the aquarium before proceeding to the Imagination! Pavilion. Spend some time with Figment at Journey into Imagination with Figment. After surviving the experience "labs" stop by the Imageworks: "what if" Labs and make sure to e-mail Rustin a picture. Now, would be a good time to get your picture taken with one of the fun backdrops for the holiday season.

After you've finished, head towards Innoventions build your own thrill ride at Sum Of All Thrills.

Next, head over and pick-up a Fast Pass for test Track. Now, if it's getting close to 11:00am, you can make your way to the World Showcase. Head to the left along the World Showcase Lagoon towards Mexico.

Enjoy the "Santas" in each of the countried represented in the World Showcase. Be sure to join the Vikings in a Norse longboat on the Maelstro while you're in Norway.

After learning about the different holiday traditions and surviving a run in with the trolls, you will probably have worked up quite an appetite.

Head back to Sunshine Seasons to grab some lunch. After digesting, it's time to take to the sky again by putting your Fast Pass for Soarin' to good use. After you've returned from California, head for Spaceship Earth to travel through the life of communication. After you've learned about the past, present, and future of communication, head for Test Track to put your vehicle through all the elements.

Now, depending on the time, you could check out some attractions that didn't make the list. But, keep an eye on the time you have Canglelight Processional Dinner Package reservations at Les Chefs de France at 5:00pm. You should plan to be there no later than 4:45pm. Be sure to take lots of pictures of Remy when he comes to visit your table. After dinner, finish up anything you missed in World Showcase before getting in line for the Candlelight Processional. Your show starts at 8:15pm, plan to be in line between 7:15-7:30 pm.

Enjoy as Frank Langella reads the story of Christmas while accomanied by a 50-piece orchestra and choir. When the show is over, stake out a good spot to watch Illuminations: Reflections of Earth with a special holiday ending. There are Extra magic Hours from 9:00pm-12:00am tonight which would be a great time to take a second ride on your favorites or ride anything you missed earlier (now may be a good time to finally check out Living with the Land and Captain EO).

So what do you think? Does it sound doable with just two adults in the group? Also, do any of you know if remy is still making appearances. I called Chefs de France directly and some boy with a beautiful french accent told me yes but I suppose you never know? Also, does anyone know if they still offer the special pictures at Epcot in the Imagination! Pavilion even though Kodak isn't a sponsor anymore?

Also, I bought these for my mom and I on Ebay:
33906_524403913879_68801064_30942352_2813978_n.jpg

We've never done the Pick a Pearl in the Japan Pavilion so I'm relly excited to try it. I just hope we get pearls that fit in the cages.

And finally, for those of you who are wondering, yes, my and mom and I were some of those crazy people out there that got up at 6:50am on Aug. 26 so we could start calling at 7:00am to book our Candlelight Processional dinner package. I was calling from my cell (don't have a house phone) and my mom was calling from her cell and the house phone. We got lucky and it only took us 57 minutes to get through and then we were on hold for another 35 minutes but we got the exact reservation we wanted! But, I heard that some people couldn't get through for nearly 2.5 hours and were on hold for over an hour :sad2:. How stressful.

:

I have seen it on youtube and I can't stand the music. The parade itself looks good and we'll probably watch it, but that music give me a head everytime I try to sit and watch it on youtube. :confused3 I'm sure in person it will be better, but nothing can top Spectro in my opinion. The memories fo taking my older children 10+ years ago and watching spectro then are just wonderful.

Yay you got the carriage necklace pearl cage! I can't wait to do that one!

I forgot to add three things:

First, 2 MONTHS FROM TODAY WE'LL BE HEADING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!

Second,
T-Rex reservation: I need to talk to my mom about it and see what her thoughts are but I went ahead and made a lunch reservation for 12:30. If we do lunch instead, I'll have to cancel our breakfast reservation at Grand Floridian Cafe but at least we wouldn't have to stress about getting there after Fantasmic!. What do you think? Take our chances with the dinner reservation or do lunch and try GFC during our March trip?

Third,
Epcot: I have a Disney Visa so at around 1:00pm we'll be doing to special character meet & greet at Innoventions. I absolutely love this experience and think it's one of the most personal meet & greets. During the first one Last April we met Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto then when I did it again last June we met Minnie & Goofy.

Just started reading and wanted to say hi before I got all the way through...so jealous you get to stay at BLT! We loved the Candlelight Processional.
and btw, on this page I noticed you had the carriages for pearls - not to be a downer, but they do not fit most of the pearls picked at Disney - they hold smaller sizes than the average ones picked (I learned this in June when my pearl would not even come close to fitting and they told me most of them do not, but it is still a cute necklace to wear and you might get lucky).
ok, back to page 2 to read up now..

Back. Love the t-shirts, can't wait to see the scrapbook pages *hint, hint*, and I'll work on my top ten to be part o the fun later today.

I have looked at those necklaces and am going to purchase 3 of them. My birthday is in June and the pearl is my birthstone, as is my oldest daughter's, then we can't leave out our little princess either. I am thinking if either it's just going to be us girls going to Japan for that or if we'll take the boys and let them pick out our oysters. Dh and I did this at Downtown when we were there for our honeymoon and I came home with 3 pearls. That reminds me I have my daughters in my jewelry box, when we got it she was only 5, and now she's 11.

Ok, I have to go back and get caught up.

But first, we will be arriving the 27th and leaving the 3rd. I went last year the same week with DD4, my sister in law and my niece. It was wonderful! The weather was great, it wasn't too crowded and the decorations were awesome. I decided that it would have to be a annual trip. This year DH is coming. I can't wait!!! I think we will also do MVMCP this year :yay: We have gone for MNSSHP the last few years and we love it so we may as well give the Christmas party a try ;)

I'm so excited for the Candlelight Processional! This will be our first time seeing it and I hear so many amazing things! And I've heard that the carriages only fit the ones up to a certain size but I figured we'd take our chances. They carriages were pretty cheap so I figured it wouldn't be a huge loss if it didn't work out. I'll post some of my scrapbooking pages! It's been fun making my book so it'd be nice to share it! Can't wait to hear your favorites!

How fun! Are you doing a PTR or what are your plans?? Are we going to be at any of the same places on the same days?? I'm so excited to see Disney at this time of year and I'm really hoping crowds won't be too bad. I loved MNSSHP too but I felt like I missed a lot so I'm really excited to do MVMCP this year and try out MNSSHP again next Oct!

Omg! When is you and your daughter's birthdays? That's one of the reasons I wanted to do the pick a pearl too! for my birthstone! My birthday is June 26! In fact, my DBF and I share that birthday! He's exactly 3 hours and 20 minutes older than I am. Crazy right? It might be fun to go with just your daughters to do the pick a pearl and let your DH take the boys for a "boy activity".

Really? I have read several TR's now that have bought them and used them, and I haven't yet heard this. I have the pearl cages too, and they look pretty big. But if not, I won't cry about. They were dirt cheap.

I believe the thing I read said that the largest pearl that will fit is 7 1/4 mm or maybe 7 3/4 mm. Somewhere along those lines. I'm with you, I'm gonna hope for the best and not worry about it if it doesn't work out, I'll just try again on my next trip.

So readers, as you may know, I've been fretting over my T-Rex reservation. I really wanted to see Fantasmic! (at 6:30) but was afraid we wouldn't make it to our 8:00 reservation all the way at DTD. Well, remember I said I heard if you called T-Rex directly there were usually more reservations than what was online but I couldn't find the phone number? Well, I found the phone number this morning (407-828-TREX) and I gave them a call. I told the lady I had two adults and would take any reservation 8:30 or later. Well, get this... she searches and tells me I can have anytime I want at or after 8:30! I went with 8:45 just to be safe! So now we should be able to watch Fantasmic! and still have an hour and 45 minutes to make it to DTD for our reservation! I'm so excited!!! I wonder why the availability is so off on the Disney dining website? Maybe because it's not Disney owned and operated? Oh well, at least I checked!!

Also, I don't know if any of you do photopass but we always do it. And we like to pre-order our Photopass CD because it saves $50 opposed to waiting till you get back. I thought I would post the link for the Pre-Order offer in case any of you wanted to take advantage of it too.
http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitoffer.aspx
I tried to do it just now and it asked me to log-in so I did and then it directed back to the main website and I couldn't find the offer on there so I just re-pasted the link and it let me do it (i was already logged in from a second ago). Just in case you face the same problem at first.

I really NEED one of the cindy's carraige pendants, and can't find one anywhere!!! help!!!

All caught up and subbing! How lucky to have all those trips to look forward to. I would also love to see WDW at Christmas. Maybe one day........
