Does anyone NOT like Crocs?

I've seen people go Jerry Springer, lol.

What I posted isn't that bad. I just don't like it when people say they hate something but can't back it up aside from "Oh it's ugly." C'mon, try em on at least. :goodvibes

I'm not trying to be hateful at all. Sorry if I seem that way. :Pinkbounc
I understand what you are saying but if you read through this thread you'll see that a lot of people that are saying that they don't like crocs have tried them. yes, i admit that I have not tried them but why would i spend money on something that i don't like the looks of. I don't think that is being shallow. I wouldn't wear plaid pants because i don't like how they look! I can't imagine that you would wear something that wasn't your taste either! some people don't wear sneakers because they don't like how they look. doesn't make them shallow!

Yep, I have to agree with the OP...

They're large, rubber, come in strange colors... and man, are they UH-GLY!! (to borrow from some hyenas) :rotfl:

(not that there's anything wrong with that  )

They're SOOOOO UGLY! And they look like they're always about 5 sizes too big. You won't catch me wearing them.

Definitely not for me. Never tried them on and never will. Can't imagine wearing shoes that unflattering.

Ditto!! They are the ugliest things I have ever seen.

Although Crocs are very ugly, they were really comfortable when I first tried them on. I just can't wear them anywhere. Within about 5 steps, I stub my toe/trip or something and end up stumbling. I wonder if anyone else has this problem. Fortunately, I found some super padded Keds, with lime green soles, so I retired my Crocs. Now I never trip.

Well, I don't know if anyone read my previous post on this topic but I mentioned how I thought most versions of the crocs are ugly. I recently ordered the new "mary jane" style ones and they came today!
I tried them on and they feel really great/look pretty cute too. :thumbsup2 So sorry guys, I'm gonna have to retire from this thread. :rotfl:
*But I still understand why you guys hate them*

How dare you go to the "tacky side"! You will not be allowed back into the A.C.F(Anti Croc Faction). Im kidding of course. When you get that stage 5 blister that looks like a golf ball is implanted under your skin you will be allowed back in to A.C.F under a technicalty(temporary insanity). :thumbsup2  :thumbsup2

HAHAHAHA! :rotfl:

We'll be 'croc-less' in the world also!!!! Can't say I think too much of them, personally. Might be the most comfortable shoes on the planet...but even that wouldn't be enough for me to put those dreadful looking things on my tootsies!!! To each his own, it's just my opinion!! I do think that I'm in the minority though...everyone seems to LOVE them!! :confused3
I bought some and felt as you did the first time to. I was thinking that I had made a mistake. Wear them some more. Just short trips to the store, and such and you will find how much you like them. Don't wait to "break them in" until WDW. You need to get used to them. I think that you will find that you really like them. I know I have. Good luck and enjoy your trip!
Woops, I quoted the wrong person, oh well, this message was to the OP, or anyone who has bought a pair of Crocs and isn't sure about them yet. :rotfl:

I had a pair, but they weren't comfortable. There was one toe in particular that was bothered. So, I donated them...I hope someone is enjoying the pair. I was so hopeful for a comfortable pair of walking shoes.

Bobbi :sad2:

Oh, my, somewhere in your area, a poor homeless person is walking around with sore feet in your donated crocs. I hope someone donated bandages and mole skins to go along with the donated crocs. :)

I have a pair of pink ones...but found that wearing my flip flops were much more comfortable...and besides, I looked a bit like I had cartoon feet with them on. But, I still have them.

Actually most posters are implying crocs are ugly and they won't even try them on. How is that a fair judgement? Judging by looks is very shallow and THAT is what I was implying.

:goodvibes

Ahhhh, some of us who are judging crocs by looks are doing so for a very good reason. Have YOU had 2 foot surgeries in 2 years? Do YOU know what it's like to recover from 2 foot surgeries, while being a busy mom to 3 kids? I value my feet now and treat them like they are my best friend. If a shoe looks ugly, it stays off my feet. If a shoe looks BOTH ugly and uncomfortable, that's more reason to pass them by. Shallow....No, just smart and practical. My surgeon told me to be a shoe snob and since I don't want to endure more painful foot surgery, I'll stay a shoe snob. :)

i hate them. they are ugly and slippy and goo. sorry am a flyflots girl here. vvv comfy and im not going to DLP without mine :)

I think they are a form of molded vommit. :thumbsup2  :thumbsup2

I was very interested in CROCS for my trip to WDW in 2005. Tried them on, several sizes, and couldn't find one to fit my foot. I didn't find CROS to be a good shoe for a narrow foot. JMHO. However, I fell in love with TEVAS and wore them everyday of our 6 days in the parks without a complaint.
