There's a whole thread about people not liking the restaurant. I'm wondering if anyone likes it and if it's a "must do" for your family.

We like it, the food is good, my husband loves the ribs, I love the chicken, the wait staff is uuuhhhmmm....ANIMATED, so if you're feeling tired, have a headache or have had a LONG, LONG day at the parks, you may want to pass on it til you're more rested, because it's an event in itself!

We like going for a late lunch, the prices are much less, the food is just as good and the humor is a little more subdued. It's a must do for us!! Just go in with a "I'm here to have a fun, silly time time and get as full as can be" attitude, then walk your lunch/dinner off looking at one of the most BEAUTIFUL resorts (at least to us) on Disney Property!!

We went to WCC during our Grand Gathering last year and everyone-all 9 of us, ages 2 to 50-had a fantastic time! :cool1:

It's a "must do" for my family. We are hoping to do breakfast here on our next trip. I'll admit I don't love the food, but the cast members are so much fun, it makes up for overpriced B-B-Q.

We just booked it for the third time! We LOVE it. There is something that all of us will eat and the interaction of the waitstaff can't be beat! I like that it is loud and noisy, it gets us all happy and ready to have fun at disney!

It's my ex-boyfriend's favorite restaurant. When we were together it was a must-do. I do like it a lot also, since I am a BBQ person and I think the skillet is a good deal. I think I will do it on my next trip also.

It's a very popular restaurant so lots of people like it. We did.

It is an absolute must for my family and my DD is a picky eater. The first time we ate there the first night, not a great idea. After traveling and unpacking and not completely in the Disney funk it wasn't as good. But with a couple of years experience I plan for it every time after the first night and we have a great time. We're never too involved other then the ketchup thing, but the kids love the entertainment.

On to the food, we have ordered many things, but IMO the skillet is the best. Even my DD11 can find something on that skillet that she likes. IMO if don't like that, its not worth it to go. The other food is just OK!! On the skillet you can also get more of anything on it (like ribs - never enough for my boys).

It's a must do for us! WCC is going to be our welcome dinner for our wedding this year. :goodvibes

It's good to read some positive reviews. We're hoping to give it a try for lunch on our next trip.

We really enjoy WCC for breakfast and dinner. Lunch is a nice break from the park, but it seems as if the waitstaff is quieter and not as animated. Its a must for us though!! :)

It is my plan to leave the MK for a short time for a break. We'll enjoy the boat ride to the WL, have lunch, and then go back to the park for some more fun.

It's OK with me whether or not the waitstaff is animated. If they are subdued, then we'll have a quieter lunch. If they are loud, then we'll laugh along. I'd just like to try the skillet, have a milkshake, and see what the atmosphere is like. I told the kids about the bottomless milkshakes, and now they are sold on the idea of lunching at WCC. :)

We like WCC - its one of the restaurants we return to often. And its good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Sometimes we have a server who is really into their role and sometimes we don't, but its always an entertaining place and the food is pretty good too

We LOVE WCC...not only are the staff fun and enjoyable....their food is VERY good.

I guess we are just 2 very light hearted (40+) folks and we take things with a grain of salt. We both have VERY stressful jobs so to have fun and let my hair down is fine with me.

All meals we have had there have been great...zero complaints.

have fun!

Its a must for our family as well!
Like others have said, you don't eat there just for the food (like Sci-fi cafe) but for the atmosphere. If you go at the beginning of lunch the staff will have plenty of energy but by the end of the shift they start to quiet down a bit due to yelling for a while :P There's one server who always seems to be there when we visit and he always ends up making people connect like 5-6 straws together and trying to drink with it, its pretty entertaining!

We really enjoyed it. The food is O.K., but the waiters and "show" are worth it.

I wouldn't say its a "must do", but it certainly is entertaining.

We have breakfast at WCC during every trip. And I always ask for my favorite server when making the reservation.

It's a must do for us each trip.

Remember that lunch tends to be a little less interactive than breakfast and dinner. Your server's level of engagement is the key to the fun factor, but we like the food too.
