Does anyone like the food at LTT???

After reading the worst meal thread, I'm starting to get scared about out ADR at LTT. It's 2 adults, we liked it for lunch last year and were going to try it for dinner this time. Does anyone have anything good to say about LTT?? :confused3 Please help, I'm tired of changing all our ADR's, but I really don't want to waste our time if it's that bad!!

Keep the ADR. We always enjoy it very much. It's a nice turkey dinner, I think. We go every trip!

Enjoy!

Lunch and dinner at LTT are like day and night.

Lunch is outstanding. The menu is fantastic and the food is delicious. Best place in MK to have lunch is LTT.

Dinner is fine, mediocre. When we took the kids, we went for the characters they had at the time. Let's just say, if you didn't know how to cook and you used boxed items to make a thanksgiving meal that is what the food is like. Not bad, just nothing special. It is really a shame too because the chef at LTT is extremely talented, just wish they would let him showcase his talents at dinner.

And if you ever get a chance to have breakfast there..we did for a special event once, now that was amazing..wish they would do that all the time.

We liked it so much, when we were there Last May we went twice. I made Adr's for our upcoming trip too. Quite honestly I can't say we had any bad meals at WDW.

The salad and rolls are DELICIOUS! The first time we went the ham was a little dry, but still tasty. It didn't stop us from going again this past November. We had a party of 8, 5 of whom had never been to LTT--everyone loved it.

I'm looking forward to going there again in August (and December :) ).

We try to go every other trip. We have only been to dinner, but it has always been good. Its a typical Thanksgiving type meal. We have never been dissapointed.

Our family (me, dh, ds8, ds4) has always had a great time and a great meal. It's a must do on each of our trips. We'll be eating there in 28 days!

Thanks for the quick replys. I have an ADR for lunch and one for dinner. Just can't decide which one to go to :confused3

Just went this past March for daughter's first birthday (characters). Keep the ADR. It is definitely a different change of pace style wise within the park. Decent food. The dressing on the salad is to die for. And you get a choice of 3 kinds of meat on the platter w. sides. (Ham, Turkey, Flank Steak-the best one IMO) and mash potatoes, green beans, stuffing & macncheese. It was decent comfort food. And someone who uses boxed stuff to cook at home. I was happy. Also dessert is apple cobbler. I had ordered a cake for the dinner but they still brought out ice cream that is ususally on the cobbler to go with the cake. Nice touch. Good service too.

If it were me, I'd go for the lunch (if you don't mind no characters) as the dinner food is just alright. It's Stoffers-type food and my kids do not like it at all. I enjoyed the salad, butter and bread and the food was ok.

The lunch menu is much better, IMHO.

I like LTT because the food is familiar. Its decent food, some is very good. I love the rolls (with sweet butter) salad, mashed potatoes, beef and ham. The other foods are also good but not excellant. Its the kind of meal where you always know what you will get. I've eaten there about half of our trips to WDW

We prefer the character-free lunch. The menu is much better and the atmosphere is much quieter and more relaxed. The food at dinner is not bad either, for a character meal.

I have eaten here twice & booked again for our next trip. I thought the food was fine & my boys age 12 & 9 loved it! I agree about the rolls & the salad dressing, yummy!!!!!! My mil like the dressing so much that she got the recipe. Can't wait for her to make it.

Imagine a turkey/roast beef dinner catered for several hundred people. That's pretty much what you get at LTT dinner. Quality varies from item to item but it's mass-produced food and it shows. On our recent visit, I thought the salad and rolls were very good, the turkey good, the vegetables just average, the roast beef and dessert not so good. The macaroni and cheese was OK but very heavy, seemed like 50% margarine.

It's a lot better than what you get at Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue, but not as good as most menu style TS restaurants. Garden Grill does essentially the same thing, but GG has significantly better food.

On the other hand, the service, character interaction, and theming are all quite good at LTT.

We loved the dinner. DH & I are picky eaters so a lot of WDW restaurants are out of the question for us. It was nice to sit down & know we'd like everything offered. :rotfl:

I love eating there. Then again I eat hospital food most days. I love the mac & cheese. Now before anyone can say it, yes, I know it is stoufers and I know I can buy it at home but I am really never home to make dinner. So anything anyone else makes for me is golden!! :teeth:
