Does anyone like Stitch's Great Escape?

We have always skipped it because it seems to get such terrible reviews. DH would like to try it on this trip. Is it worth a try? And what age do you think kids need to be to watch? Ours will be 10, 7, and 4 on our trip. They don't scare extremely easily but I don't want to terrify them.

We went on our first trip back in 09. We haven't went back.
It's not that we found it terrifying but something about it just wasn't fun.
You are in the dark and Stitch is "jumping" on the restraints/harness..."sniffing" in your ear and spitting on you.
Just wasn't our cup of tea. My niece was 8 at the time and she was a little afraid. But not near as afraid as she was during "It's a bugs Life." Don't ask..it was a horrifying experience for all involved..

I don't hate Stitch, but I'm also not a big fan. Our family has always held the mantra, "Can't knock it til you've tried it (unless it's life threatening)", so I've gone on twice in my life. The second time the overhead harness didn't sit on my shoulders right, but at least I knew when to hold my breath. (Certain scents give me headaches and lets just say Stitch likes chili dogs - in case one of your crew is also sensitive.) It's an every-few-trips sort of attraction for me, alternating with Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor (might be better for the 4 year old), and just not going on either attraction at all. *edit to add* If you end up deciding it's not something for the youngest, then maybe the older two can ride with DH while you and the little one find something else to keep busy for 20 minutes.

That is an easy question to answer, NO, no one in our family likes it, wish they would do something else there.

The shoulder restraints are heavy and they really make my back hurt. If you slouch for even a second they will lock in place and you cannot straighten back up.

Also, there's always a chance that a terrified child will scream the entire time.

The show itself is fine. Not great, but fine.

I am not a fan.

Love these responses! The 4-year-old and I have lunch ADR at CRT, so maybe DH and boys will try it while we're at lunch.

I warned my family about the terrible reviews on our first trip a few years ago but they all still wanted to try it... it was every bit as bad as I had heard here. Luckily there was no wait- our family of 4 was joined by only 8 others! Apparently word spreads.

None of us hate it. I guess I sort of nothing it. If it were an attraction at a local carnival, I'd probably think it was very well themed. But knowing what Disney is capable of, I do wish they'd put in something else.
