Does anyone like going in October?

I think it was so crowded last october 6th ---11th is because all the hurricanes
that went threw florida. It backed up alot of vacations. So Columbus day weekend
was the first nice weekend in Florida. The week leading up to the holiday weekend
was fine/not that crowed.
I would still go again that time of the year.
We are going in July this year!

October is a great time to go. Food and wine festival and MNSSHP is a blast. I love going in October. :teeth:

I really enjoy Ocotber as well...I'm trying to decide how to do my fall trip my ap expires Sept 30, but the more I think about it the more I want to do MNSSHP again and the food and wine festival.

sarhenty the Funai Golf Classic will be played at Disney's Palm and Magnolia Golf Courses from October 20-23, 2005.

We went in October 2003 and we really loved it. The weather was warm and great for the waterparks. While it was a little busy at WDW b/c they were doing the Fairytale Package (pay for 4 nights, get 3 nights free), we never thought it was too bad. If you went to the parks early and used fastpass you never had to wait more than 15 minutes for any ride. We loved going then and would do it again in a heartbeat!!

:sunny:

Next to going the first week of December October is our favorite time to go. We just love MNSSHP and the crowds are very low. I think the longest we waited to get on any ride during the week was 25 minutes. Weekends tend to be a bit more crowded but certainly nothing compared to Spring Break Time.

I'm planning on going to WDW with some friends in fall. I want to go the week after Thanksgiving (it's cooler, value season and less crowded), but they all want to go in October. I've never been in October. So tell me...is it really that bad at that time?

Btw, I won't be participating in MNSSHP, so that's not an issue.

I've gone Sept, Oct (last week), beginning of November and beginning of December and October was by far the best weather and minimal crowds. I've done it twice and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The weather can't be beat!

...I like both but if you have not been to see the Christmas decorations, December is a must. Everything is so beautiful. The crowds were a little heavier than expected in December but still manageable...

I went in November last year and saw the Christmas decorations then. :) I don't like Halloween, which is why I'm not going to attend MNSSHP. Thanks, everyone! I can't wait for the trip now! Especially since my dd4 is a little fish and will love the fact that she can swim more! :)

You will love it. I've been 3x in Oct. I'd say it's my favorite time to go....

Actually, it is the 12th, but the Federal Holiday has been designated as the 2nd Monday of Oct.
Ohhhhhh :) Good then that rules out Columbus weekend hitting us. Whew! :dancer:

We don't care much for Halloween either, but we're going to MNSSHP. We're hoping to find some of the "hard to find" characters for DD's autograph book.
