Hey there, I was just wondering if anyone knew if you could buy oriental singing bowls in WDW? I was thinking maybe in AK or Epcot in the WS. I am getting a degree in holistic healing and would love to have one or a few for my sound therapy presentation this semester. I'll be there in October and would like to plan ahead financially but I don't know if they are there or if I'll have to get some online.

I don't think you can buy them in Epcot, but you may want to do a search on the internet for singing bowls. May I just suggest you try a Tibetian singing bowl (porceline, if possible! And BIG!)? You'll get a much richer, deeper sound than you get from a metal singing bowl. And don't skimp on cost (not that you would....). Quality does make a huge difference.

I would love to get some of the porceline ones I have seen on my books and on the net only with tuition I can't afford them at this point. I was hoping I could get one or two (metal or otherwise) at WDW, not that the price would be much different but I wouldn't have to save for my trip and that if I could get it as a "souvinear". Maybe it's just in my mind that the budgeting works out that way. If I can't get them there then I may try to save some of my trip money to buy them online when I get back. We'll see how well that works.
