a list of things to remember for the trip? I was once searching the web and found a list of things to remember for the trip to DW with packing and planning. Now that my trip is almost here I need it. LOL

Also, we are staying at POR. Any suggestions? Likes, dislikes? I had to stay there since there is 5 of us and I didn't want to break the bank for a place to stay, when I hardly stay in the room anyways. (Suites were booked at the Value resorts) Also, the POR is sold out for the week we are there, would you take the bus or drive to the different parks? Is there a sneaky way to do things, like taking a bus to downtown disney and riding the boat back to POR after the parks close?

You will save no time going through Downtown Disney. Simply take your bus and you will do as well as driving and parking in the main lots.

That is very much like it, thank you! A girl can dream to find a quicker way back. I know last time I went and stayed at CBR, the bus line after MK closed was sooooooooooooo long! Thanks.

Try themouseforless.com. I believe there are some "ultimate packing lists" there as well as envelopes for mousekeeping, luggage tags, trip diaries, etc. Great downloads!

Nickie - if you're staying at MK until closing, a great tip I found out last trip was not to leave the park right away - we dawdled, sat on a bench and people watched, wandered through a couple of gift shops, killed about half an hour and then went out to the buses. The MK is so beautiful when the people clear out at night, and it's so less stressful to be able to actually take a full stride on the way out instead of the 'exit shuffle' The bus lines were minimal, and we were able to spend time looking around instead of standing in a really long bus line with tired and grumpy people!!!

We just got back early May and stayed at POR. The lines for POR were always longer than any other resort. However, they moved fast and sent several buses to clear people out. The one night it was really long at MK closing, POFQ's line was 1/2 the people so we took that bus back, then hopped on the boat back to POFQ. I don't know if we saved anytime doing this, but it beat standing in line.
