Does anyone know where I can get...

I would really like to use die cuts of Mickey and Friends on different modes of transportation (airplane, monorail, bus, train) in my scrapbook of my Disney World vacation this year. My 4-year-old son loves these characters and he loved riding on all of these.

I have been looking very unsuccessfully for either pre-made die cuts or SVG files to use with my Cricut/SCAL. I would even be happy with a coloring book page/jpeg/etc. that I could convert to what I need. Does anyone know where I can get any of these? I know I have seen them for sale on eBay before, but all of the people who used to be there selling have stopped since eBay changed their fees to make it more expensive for small items. I would bet that some of them are still being sold, but I don't know where.

Thanks!

Sherry

try amazon:
Disney's Mickey Mouse "Travel Pals" Magic Pen Painting Book by Lee Publications
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Are We There Yet? (Disney Early Readers) (scan the images)

Even better: take a picture of the image from a book, they look SO cool when there added to a scrapbook page.

I did the monorail for our scrapbook, but I made it buy hand. Can you draw at all? Also, do you have the gypsy or CDS? Could you piece something together using George and Basic Shapes?

Did you check Etsy?

I checked Etsy, but didn't find anything. That doesn't mean I couldn't get it there, but it's not available right now.

I've found both with eBay and Etsy that it depends a lot on current stock, and they may have what you want 1 day and not the next. If I knew the ID of someone who sold a lot of Disney die cuts, I would ask if they could do it for me, but I don't have anyone to ask. I'll keep checking back, but I don't have a lot of hope from that route.

I never thought of Amazon. I just looked and I'll order those books and see what they have for me. There may be some others too, I need to look a little further.

While there, I searched the coloring books too. They have what I need - a Disney World coloring book with the perfect picture of Mickey & friends in a monorail on the front cover for me to scan and create a die cut. Unfortunately, it is "vintage", and $60.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Unfortunately I cannot draw AT ALL. And the only cartridge I have is the Mickey and Friends. No CDS - I decided to go the SCAL route and skip buying the cartridges. I seem to be able to find almost all of the images I need, but there doesn't seem to be much Disney park-specific images available. I even looked for coloring books while at Disney World and couldn't find anything except generic princess or Mickey books. I may have to check out the carts and get some on the Thanksgiving sales next week.

Thanks for the help!

Sherry, I have a book downstairs.. .let me go check as to what it is!!

Wow, it's worth that??

LOL, I have that...I could look for it...when do you need it by?

I found one of my coloring books. I have 3 others, including the one with the monorail on the front cover. I have no idea where it is :confused3. If I find them, I look through those for you. BUT, I do have these:

I have a train, but it's the Wildlife express train from DAK

Did you need a car? I have Mickey and Minnie driving a car, I have a few in the boat, I have an image of them in a Tour tram from DHS...

Those are perfect!

I don't have a car, and it might be useful though we hardly ever used a car while at Disney World. The ferry boat would be great, but the tour tram I can't use - taking the buses from our resort meant we never used the trams at all. We never rode the Wildlife Express train either.

The transportation we used was the Magical Express, the buses from the resorts to the parks, the ferryboat, and the monorail. We also rode the train at Magic Kingdom. My son loved them all, but I don't have any pictures of him on any of it except the buses. Those photos my Mom took. I don't know how I could have forgotten to take photos! So now I'm trying to bring the transportation system into my scrapbook with my journaling and paper piecings.

Thanks for your help! These will be great additions!

I have all those same coloring books, and use from them in every album. On that picture of Mickey and Minnie with the airplane, I put a birthday cake with flaming candles over the camera Mickey is holding, so it looks like he is carrying the cake. DH and I flew to WDW on my birthday one year, so that is my title page. My daughter asked if they really let us on the plane with the candles flaming like that...

That coloring book picture you posted of the characters on the monorail I used on a page to explain how we got trapped on the monorail one time....

The doors wouldn't open on a few cars of the monorail, and it was getting ready to leave again without letting the few passengers off. We were intending to get on the last bus heading to an off-site resort, and already worried about being late. So on my page, I drew talk bubbles from each character shouting for help getting the doors open. If you look at them that way, you can imagine them shouting.....
