Does anyone know when Soarin is opening?

Can anyone tell me if they know when Soarin is scheduled to open.

It should be open in May for DL's 50th anniversary. It may be having a soft opening before that. It is an awesome ride!!!!

Word has it Late Spring, which in my book, means testing in April to be opened in May!

05/05/05, the kickoff of the 50th celebration. Agreed that there will probably be soft opennings for the host of guest (sponsors, DVC, AP, & CM). Then soft opennings for the "there are the right time" guest.

What is Soarin?

Soarin' is the WDW version (exact copy?) of the ride Saorin' over California at Disney's Californa Adventure. It will be located attached to The Land in Epcot. Rows of seats are lifted in front of an IMAX screen. Motion and other effects give the sensation that you are hang gliding. It's a great ride!

aww I'll miss it! I was hoping it would be open by march, oh well. I guess I'll just have to wait until 2006. :-(

Theming of the area at WDW will be different than DL. California is on flight history where WDW will be themed like an airport.
