Does anyone know when JetBlue releases fares?

This is our first time probably flying JetBlue. We are traveling in the summer 2010, and I see that fares/schedules are only available through 4/30/10. I called JB today to ask when the summer fares might be expected, but the best answer I got was 6-7 months out. Does anyone have experience with JB and have a better idea when I can expect the next round of fares to come out? Also, what time of day does this generally happen? Midnight? 6am?

Thanks so much in advance!:)

My guess would be January 1st. I purchased my tickets to Orlando (for August 2009) on Jetblue on January 9, 2009. I had been watching fares for at least a week, and Jetblue had been available the entire time.

No guarantees with Jetblue though.

Since I knew last year that I would be going to Disney in August 2010, I kept track of airfare for quite some time. JetBlue released their fares thru 9/8/09 sometime around 12/13/08. I'm hopng August 2010 airfare will be released sometime in December this year also.

Maybe this is a glitch, but I went on Jetblue's site tonight to search for airfare in August and low and behold some flights were available.

I say "some" because I searched for airfare from Long Beach, CA to Orlando. and the usual flight I take (Long Beach - Austin, Austin - Orlando) was listed as "SOLD OUT", which seems unlikely considering how far our I was searching. I also searched for one day before and after and the specific flight I want was listed as "SOLD OUT" also. There were, however, numerous options for connecting through New York.

My return flight (Fort Lauderdale to Long Beach) was also available. Just to be sure I continued as far as the system would let me without actually paying and it appears to be valid. I was able to select my seats and everything!

Perhaps Jetblue is still in the process of loading the new schedules in their system?

I just booked flights for July 2010 on JB. 89 each way from Boston to MCO, I thought that was pretty good! I could not get on thru the home page, that only had the calendar thru 4/30 so I had to go to the "where we fly" page and then I could get the July dates.

Thanks, everyone! I had been checking the site several times a day and noticed they were up very early yesterday morning (4am 11/4). I was a little disappointed in the fares for Sat. July 31, but Thurs. July 29 were much better, so we are flying out 2 days earlier than planned and coming home 1 day earlier. So we extended the lenghth of our trip by a day and the $$ we saved on that flight will pay for the extra night in WDW! So excited!!

This is our first experience with JetBlue. They say the first fares they post are their lowest. I was comfortable locking in $89 and $99 each way from HPN for really good flight times, too, so even if they do go a little lower, I know we did pretty well. :cool1:

I hope that isn't true! The fares for August are a bit high right now. I was hoping they would go down in a few months when I book. I may just book through orbitz because they give a refund if someone books the same flights on their website at a cheaper rate if the prices go down.

If you book through JB and their fares go down, you may call and request a JB credit that is valid for a year.

I agree. The fares for August are about $100 higher PP, RT than they were last year, the exact same dates.

Well, I bit the bullet and booked for August already. When I was reading Jetblue's website it said they do release fares at the lowest fares on a certain number of seats. When those seats are booked, the airfare will go up. I figured I would book so I don't have to fret over seeing them go up. And I'm not the kind of person that will wait for a last-minute fare deal in July.
