Does anyone know when Air Tran and Southwest will release April 2011?

I saw Jet blue has released their dates.... Does anyone know when Southwest and AirTran will? Jet blue is a bit pricey for the dates I need. April 14th - April 20th....

I'm waiting for SW too. Their site says April fares will open in October. I don't remember the exact date.

I don't know about air tran. I'm leery about flying with them because I've read they have a tendency to switch their non-stops to one stops and we really need non-stop.

SWA has not updated their Travel Tools page with the next release date, but has updated their FAQ. In the FAQ they say:

19. How far in advance may I purchase Southwest Airlines travel?
You may now purchase Southwest Airlines travel through March 11, 2011. On October 5, we will open our schedule for sale through June 3, 2011.

I just logged on to see if I could find an answer to the AirTran question, glad someone asked it, now I hope someone with the answer will post!

I've never flown AirTran before, but I see that they fly out of a nearby airport. We usually drive 4 hours to KC to fly Southwest (for the prices we've paid, it's totally worth it!) but if I could find comparable prices closer to home that would be awesome!

Airtran released dates through 4/20. I bought one way for 4/14 but waiting for 4/21 to be released for flight home

Air Tran fares from IND are outrageous for April. My $80 ticket in Dec. is $286 for April. OUCH.

The SWA release time was much earlier for the most recent batch of airfares. Some people who went looking at 10am found the cheapest airfares already taken.

Saw this on Southwest's site this morning (Monday, September 27):

Now accepting reservations through March 11, 2011. On September 28, we will open our schedule for sale through April 25, 2011. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently
