Will Disneyland maybe exchange it for a gift card? I know the ticket says non-refundable. I have one extra ticket for the party 10/6. Am I just out the money? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for the suggestions! I guess I can always try to get it refunded. It can't hurt to ask, right? A family member has the flu and can not go, so maybe if I bring a doctors note? I will keep my fingers crossed!
Don't bother with the doctors note, they can't legally even look at it. I would give them a call (now) and explain that a member of your party is ill and unable to travel and ask if it is possible to get the ticket refunded.
OK, just for you all who read this...if I can not get the ticket refunded, I don't want to just throw it away. I am staying at the Grand from wed-sat and will post on here that it is up for grabs. Someone can come pick it up!

Is it because you won't have anyone to go with (since the other member has the flu)? You might have fun going by yourself! The parade and fireworks are excellent and it's nice to just sit and take in the ambiance. I would hate to see someone miss the party! If I was in the same predicament, I would totally go alone!

We've been at the Grand since Sunday.
The Tuesday party was nice. Crowds weren't too bad.
Really liked the parade. The fireworks view from the train station was great.
Enjoy your stay.
Typing this in line on my phone, so if it doesn't make sense I'm sorry. We were a party of four, now only three. I would go alone, lol, more candy for me! I just have the one ticket for Friday that would go to waste. I'm going to ask tomorrow if there is anything I can do, or I'll give it away.
I would definitely try to see if Disney can do something for you. I know it is non-refundable but some times they will work with you. A few years back my mom and me and two boys had planned a trip to Disneyland. The night before our trip we had a death in the family and my mom did not come with us. I called Disney and they gave me food vouchers (equivalent amount) in exchange for her park ticket. I know it is not the same situation but maybe they could do something for you. It doesn't hurt to ask.
