It was a ride in DCA and it looked like an Orange and it goes backwards? A swing ride?

The Orange Stinger? I don't remember it going backwards though.

It's still there....sorta. They took the orange "shell" away and re-themed it into the Silly Symphony Swings.

My mom and I loved that one. It felt exceptionally Southern California to us. I believe they used to scent the air with orange blossoms, which had the nasty unintended consequence of attracting bees, so the gave up on it.
