Does anyone know off hand if DVC is open the Day after Thanksgiving

I want to try and book an OKWest Grand Villa day by bay starting on November 25th, which is the day after Thanksgiving. So, if they are closed that Friday then the first day that I can possibly start to book is the Monday after Thanksgiving, at which point I could book my first 4 days correct?

Well on Monday, 11/28/2005, you could book any number of nights, as long as the check out date is 10/28/06 or earlier. It would be the first opportunity you would have to book the nights of 10/24 -10/27 - assuming MS was closed on 11/25/05.

If MS is open on the day after Thanksgiving (I don't know if it will be or not), you could book the night of 10/24/06 that day (because the check out day would be 10/25/06). Is 10/24/06 the first night of your vacation?

I asssumed you are an OKW owner and are using your 11 month window.

No, I'm a BWV and SSR owner but we want to stay at OKWest, the 11/25 date is the first date of my 7 month window, I'm going to try and book day by day. I need to keep my BWVilla points open as I'm using them at my 11 month window to book Christmas. In the event we can't get the Grand villa, we'll make do with a 2 bedroom; there are only 7 of us going, but I wanted to try and get the Grand Villa for the WOW factor and so that everyone had their own bed. Christmas only need a one bedroom as there is only 4 of us.

MS has been closed the last few years on the Friday after thankgiving.

I would expect the same this year.

Call that Monday and the voice mail will tell you if it will be closed or not.
