find someone on the internet for free? I have tried Google and got the pay sites. I know that there is a way to look up people for free but I don't know how. Can someone please tell me. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried just googling their actual name? Sometimes you can find people that way..

Yes, I have Googled the name, all I'm getting is the pay sites.

Sometimes Pipl.com is helpful, but it will also lead you into pay sites as well non-pay sites. Good luck.

Try zabasearch.com or whitepages.com. I used them to find classmates for our 20 year reunion last year and was pretty successful.

I've never had any luck. Don't try the pay sites either. They're good at finding old addresses/phone #'s, but nothing current.

I was finally able to find an old friend of mine, but only by talking to her ex-dh.

Have you tried entering their name at My Space and Facebook. Funny who you will find on there that you wouldn't think would have a page.

You might want to try classmates.com I've found a few old friends there.

you can use the free searches on pay sites to point you in the rigth direction-ie if you search by the persons name and last known location-it will give you usually a list of cities -and relatives or roommates-using that information you can do a telephone directory search -those are free -and possibly turn up address and phone numbers-when my dad passed away i located a numer of people that my mom wanted to get in touch with that way.

Class mates is also pretty good. But for either search to work you have to have some information to start with. And not all the pay sites are useless-but you can usually find what you want by other means.
