I live in the UK and have lots of US guests post checks to me, you just need an ordinary envelope and to mark it 'air mail' and 'United Kingdom,' just tell the person in the post office that it is being sent to England.
Post from the US to the UK is normally delivered very quickly (less than a week).

No, if the owner has quoted you a price in $s then you send a check in $s (we don't have the Euro currency in the UK.....we still have the Great Bristish Poung (GBP).
If they are in England it will be £ sterling not Euros but they may take US checks if they have a US bank account. As owners we will take both depending on where our guests are from
Worthwhile maybe giving them a call to check what currency is needed

Mailed it out this morning and it was 90cents and the nice man stamped it for me. He also sold me a sheet of the new star wars stamps which made DH a happy camper. Once again I walk into a place with a task in mind and walk out a little lighter in the pockets from unexpected purchases! LOL
I have been using the Star Wars stamps and I do not like them they are to confusing to me.
I bought them because they were different and not the same old same old. So sorry I did. I like easy also and they are a bit more work then I want to give them.
